We are so happy to finally be able to hold the SEND Family Support’s Santa’s Grotto & Christmas Market. This will be our first since 2019bc (before covid) and although the Santa’s Grotto Delivery service was very popular it can’t replace the atmosphere of this event. We are so looking forward to seeing as many SEND Families as possible and we know our Santa has missed all of you too!

For families caring for children & young adults with SEND (special educational needs & disabilities) and their siblings accompanied by their parent/carers to the fourth annual SEND Family Support’s Santa’s Grotto & Christmas Market 2022.

Please read the rules & guidance we need to have to help make the event run smoothly. The Booking Form is below the rules & guidance.

1. This Event is being run by Volunteers who have given up their own time to help you. So please listen and support them on the day, no abuse or offense directed at them or anyone in attendance will be tolerated.

2. Parents will need to accompany their child/ren and/or young adult/s.

3. If any attendees want to wear covid-19 masks and wish to social distance, we expect everyone to respect their wishes. Although no one has to wear masks or social distance with current government guidance, SEND Family Support are all inclusive and respect everyone’s choices equally.

4. If you feel it will help, please explain any traits your child might have that can be misunderstood, so we can be prepared and able to explain if needed. You can do this by sending an email to [email protected].

5. We are fully inclusive but we still have to take into account all attendees so if any attendee is too disruptive to the guest hosts or offensive to anyone within the the club we may consider asking the parent and or carer to leave. However we do understand that if it is a trait of their condition and will do our best to keep everyone in attendance as happy as can be, and if they are asked to leave we may accept them to future events.

6. We will take some photos of at the event. If for any reason you do not wish photos of anyone in your family to be shared please inform us on the day or email [email protected].

We may add further rules but if we do we will have signage on the da The rules and guidance are only because we want all children and young adults that attend to enjoy as best as they can!

The main aim is to run this event to help the children & young adults with SEND to meet other children & young adults, enjoy some Christmas fun and help advise the SEND Families of further help and support they might require.
