Send Family Support: Who Are We??

We are a group of volunteers and carers, that have run many successful events for families caring for children with SEND over the past 8 – 9 years.

Our team also run the original DADZ4DADZ and MUMZ4MUMZ closed social media forums for DADZ & MUMZ caring for children with SEND in the UK.

We now want to offer even more support for families caring for children with SEND. We would like to hear from all families on what help, support and events they would like and where they would like them. If you have any thoughts or suggestions please email us on [email protected].

If you would like to be kept up to date on all our workshops, clubs, support groups and annual events or any other service we may provide in the future, you need to be signed up for SEND Family Support. Don’t worry because it’s free to sign up for SEND Family Support and you can do so by going to www.sendfs.co.uk/sign-up-for-send-family-support or click the link at the top of the page.  Only families that have signed up can attend our SEND Events.

Please note we want to work with other organisations and Charities, so we can check if any of your needs are being met in your local area. We will always review and listen to your views and see how we can help you and your family more. If your needs are not being met we will endeavour to signpost you to what your family need. We do advise you to check your local authorities local offer as it may have local organisations that can help you directly, however we will always look to see how we can help you ourselves.

Please note that we will share information from other organisations but we aren’t responsible for them and can’t guarantee all information we might share will help all but it might help some families with their needs.
