Rules and Guidance rules for the group.

When booking please be sure to fill in what is required on each form. We only need what is marked * meaning this info is required. Only people who book with the required info will be sent the ZOOM Link for the group date booked.

Only people who attend a group will be added to the automatic invitation with a ZOOM link, so if you book and can’t attend for any reason please book again. It is ok not to attend, we understand anything can happen.

Only people who have registered for the group can join and no one will join after 730pm, unless they are returning or re-joining the same meeting having already been a part of it previously.

Zoom SEND Family Support’s Parents Group Hosts from our SEND Family Support Helpers (Volunteers Group)

The SENDFS Parents Group Hosts will speak to you all, starting with those who have submitted subjects to cover and questions.

On arrival we will ask you to have cameras on (if online), for safeguarding.

If you have a different name on your Zoom profile than that you have booked with we will also ask you to confirm who you have booked under.

If anyone would like to interject please raise their hands and wait for us to ask you to say what you would like to say.

After submitted subjects and questions we will ask if anyone has any other subjects and questions you would like us to cover that wasn’t sent in

Please also note we have put this support group on in the attempt to help give you all support but our Support Group are also Parents of children with SEND who volunteer to help others. We will not tolerate any abuse to anyone within the Group, we are all individuals with different views caring for individuals with SEND and any views shared may or may not help others.

This Group is for Parents to meet other Parents in SEND Families. Children & Young Adults can be present if unavoidable but as it is not a group for children please be mindful of all attendees.

If any issues or noise on your side please mute yourselves and/or turn your camera off, so the group can continue. When you can come back please do so.

If for whatever reason we can’t cover the topic or give an answer SEND Family Support will follow up by sending an email to the person needing an answer.
