The following are the rules we need to have to help make the session run smoothly and to protect privacy of all attendees.

Workshop Rules –
- SEND Family Support are running this workshop with our special guest host Polly Sweeney, so please continue to show full respect to the hosts and other attendees on the day. All our hosts and helpers are volunteers and have given up their time for free so that we can provide a free service to you. So any abuse or offense to them or anyone within the workshop will not be tolerated.
- All attendees should be on mute unless Polly or a SENDFS Helper has asked you to unmute for any reason (only one person speaking at a time). This is to allow everyone to hear the subject matter of the workshop.
- If you have your camera off we may contact you via ZOOM chat, please look out for this and reply.
- There may be some subjects that take up more time and this will be dependant on if many attendees have similar questions and topics or if the subject matter by itself is too complex and Polly needs more time to allow the answer to be clearer to all. If subjects are not of interest to yourself please remember that at least one other attendee has sent the question or topic in, so it is of mass interest to them and others.
- Polly will try and cover all areas but if we are inundated with many different questions and topics that can’t be covered within the allotted 2 hours we will attempt cover as many as possible. especially those that have been sent in by more than 2 SEND families. If a topic isn’t covered and is still an area of concern please do email us after the workshop on [email protected] so we can advise or signpost you to someone who can.
- If you need to talk during the workshop please put your hand up and if Polly is ok she will ask you to unmute. Alternative you can chat to the SEND Family Support Helpers on the night via ZOOM chat, we will let you know who we are at the beginning.
- The workshop will be being recorded, so if you do not wish to be on camera please let us know.
- If your ZOOM profile has a different name to that you have registered with please let us know before or on joining via ZOOM Chat. If we aren’t sure you are the same person as who registered we may not let you join.
