Activity Clubs 2021

Please read the rules & guidance we need to have to help make the session run smoothly. The Booking Form is below the rules & guidance.

 

  1. This SEND Family Support’s Activity Club is being run by Volunteers who have given up their own time to help you. So please listen and support them on the day, no abuse or offense directed at them or anyone in attendance will be tolerated.
  2. Parents will need to accompany their child/ren.
  3. We will have hand sanitisers available for use, but if you wish to bring your own please do.
  4. If any attendees want to wear covid-19 masks and wish to social distance, we expect everyone to respect their wishes. Although no one has to wear masks or social distance with current government guidance, SEND Family Support are all inclusive and respect everyone’s choices equally.
  5. If you feel it will help, please explain any traits your child might have that can be misunderstood, so we can be prepared and able to explain if needed. You can do this by sending an email to [email protected].
  6. We are fully inclusive but we still have to take into account all attendees so if any attendee is too disruptive to the guest hosts or offensive to anyone within the the club we may consider asking the parent and or carer to leave. However we do understand that if it is a trait of their condition and will do our best to keep everyone in attendance as happy as can be, and if they are asked to leave we may accept them to future clubs.
  7. Photos may be taken at our clubs, workshops & events. If for any reason you do not wish photos to be shared of any member of your family please let us know on the day or email [email protected].

We may add further rules but only because we want all children and young adults that attend to enjoy as best as they can!

Our main aim is to run this event to help the children & young adults with SEND to meet other children & young adults, learn some skills and help advise the SEND Families of further help and support they might require.
