SEND Family Support – Santa’s Grotto & Christmas Market 2019
What a Fantastic day we had at the third annual Santa’s Grotto & Christmas Market.
We would like to thank all the families caring for children with SEND that came to enjoy the festivities and collect information. We again have had a lot of great feedback from many of attendees. We also hope that all families found advice and support they need and that your all your family enjoyed our event. We hope to see you all again next year at our fourth Santa’s Grotto & Christmas Market 2020 and our other events throughout the year.
We are aware that there was some confusion due to the Eventbrite ticketing system, which made it look like the Christmas Market had an earlier start time. Please be advised that we’ve already sorted this issue for next years event so all will be a lot clearer.
We would also like to thank all the below Information Tables & Stall Holders for helping to make the day even better for all.
AnnaKennedyOnline Team as always for supporting us in this event 3 years in a row, Healthwatch Hillingdon for great advice, Train to Care and their Autism Reality Experience Bus, The Hillingdon Safer Cycling Team and their bikes, The Metropolitan Police for their info and allowing our children to sit in the car and play, Centre of ADHD & Autism, the Hillingdon PCF, SENSAS (Advocacy Service for SEN), DoUp4Ways, Facepainting by Feature Art & Murals (Jodie Ligget), The Big Bounce Theory, Spicy Fusion, Bodyshop at Home with Louise Hayter, Aceparty Gifts,
Of course we would like to send a special thanks to all the extra volunteers that helped us on the day along with the Hillingdon Youth Council Volunteers who on their own raffle raised and donated £330 to our Charity, the Flower Stall in Uxbridge for again donating our real Christmas Trees, AnnaKennedyOnline for donating the Selection Boxes for Santa, the Carers Champion and the Hillingdon Community Trust for their massive support. Not too mention all the businesses that continued their support to our Prize Draw and the generosity of the people who entered the Draw.
Finally we would like to send a massive thanks to our the Carers Support Group for continuing to help at all our events and Drop In Centre’s, your support above all is much appreciated by us and the families in attendance.
We are so looking forward to another great year adding more support for families caring for children with SEND inclusively!
